Check of Blake's new album titled "Blake Stamper"

Blake Stamper, born in Louisville, Ky, is no stranger to good music.

First influenced by his father , Art Stamper,  the " Famous Fiddle Player",  Blake fell in love with music at a very young age.
He grew up listening to and being influenced by a large variety of music, ranging from bluegrass to hard driving rock and roll.  During his school years, Blake played horns in the Concert, Stage and Marching Bands, performing music from Bach and Sousa, to Glen Miller to the present-day sounds.  This musical experience led to Blake's acceptance into the United States Air Force Drum & Bugle Corps.
where he proudly performed at military parades and honors ceremonies.

Later, during Blake's term in the Air Force, he entered Tops in Blue competition and won first place in his category two years in a row performing his own music.

Blake's songwriting abilities are exceptional and he takes a great deal of pride in his musical creations.   I think that you will agree that his lyrics and musical arrangements sound anything but "local".   Aside from creating his own music,  Blake is also an accomplished lead guitarist.  He has worked as a freelance musician and singer in the Louisville area and is highly respected by all who know him.

Some of the people Blake has worked with are:  Mike Lunsford, Karen Kraft, Peggy Jo, Jim Dishman, Connie Smith and Jack Green, to name just a few. He has opened for artists such as:  Steve Wariner and Lari White.  Blake also performed at The Capital Expo 2000 and 2001 in Frankfort, Ky with his band. With the recent release of Blake's new self-titled EP CD, he has managed to stir up some interest in parts of Texas, Kentucky and Indiana through radio airplay.

When you sum it all up,  what you get is a highly talented and seasoned performer who will stop at nothing to ensure that his audience is having the time of their life.   So, whatever the occasion,  call Blake Stamper for the best in country and variety music.
